Senior Fiction Production Editor (Spicy Romance)

I am seeking a meticulous, high-level Production Editor to take full ownership of my spicy romance novellas. I write fast-paced, high-tension stories (3-hour reads) set in an interconnected universe. I need a partner who does not just "give feedback" but takes a raw draft and delivers a publishing-ready manuscript. You will be the final gatekeeper for plot, character continuity, and "primal heat" pacing.

What You Will Own:

The Master Edit: Perform developmental, line, and copy editing on all drafts. You are responsible for catching "ghost blocking" (e.g., a character entering a room twice), inconsistent eye colors, and timeline errors.

Reader Integration: You will manage the feedback loop from my Alpha and Beta readers. You won't just pass their notes to me; you will analyze their feedback, d ---------- what strengthens the story, and implement the changes directly into the manuscript.

The Series Bible: Maintain a living document of character descriptions (scents, tattoos, eye colors) and locations to ensure 100?curacy across a 10+ book series.

AI-Enhanced Production: I will train you on my specific AI-assisted workflow to 10x your speed. You must be tech-curious and eager to master these tools to eliminate "AI-isms" and polish prose into punchy, humanized fiction.

Requirements:

Professional Credentials: You must have a portfolio of published fiction you have edited (Indie or Traditional).

Genre Expertise: Deep familiarity with spicy romance tropes. You must be comfortable editing explicit content.

Meticulous Eye: You are the person who notices if a character is "barefoot" in one paragraph and "clicking heels" in the next.
