About Boardgame Studio
Boardgame Studio [ ---------- ] is a brand creative and incubation studio that partners with founders, creators, and companies to build, launch, and grow standout brands. Our services span brand identity, package design, creative direction, web design and development, brand strategy, and copywriting. We're also the team behind in-house brands like Jiggies, Notorious Foodie, and FluffCo — built from the ground up right here in our studio.

About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will create visually compelling designs across a range of formats — from social media graphics and email layouts to product packaging and photo manipulation.

You'll work directly with a Project Manager who will guide you through tasks, provide briefs, and ensure alignment on priorities. Daily check-ins are part of the workflow to keep projects on track, share updates, and make sure you have everything you need to do your best work. This is a fast-paced environment where quick turnarounds and clear communication are key.

Responsibilities
- Design and produce social media graphics, email layouts, and other marketing materials
- Perform photo manipulation and retouching to meet project specifications
- Collaborate with tea ---------- mbers using Figma for design development, feedback, and handoff
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual outputs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often delivering final assets within a one-day turnaround (longer turn-around times are allotted for larger projects)
- Organize and maintain design files with proper naming conventions for easy team access and version control
- Communicate proactively with the team — asking clarifying questions to ensure accuracy and alignment before executing

What We're Looking For/Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in photo manipulation, email layouts, and social media graphics
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (must have access to authentic/licensed Adobe products)
- Extensive hands-on experience working in Figma
- A keen eye for design — strong sense of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
- Open to working with AI-powered tools (e.g., Higgsfield.ai, Claude) as part of the creative workflow — you don't need to be an expert, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet tight deadlines (one-day turnaround)

Nice to Have
- Packaging design experience
- Video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools)

Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills — clear, responsive, and not afraid to ask questions
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Self-motivated and dependable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Technical Requirements
Since this is a remote position, candidates must have the following:
- A computer with a strong processor and dedicated GPU capable of handling graphic design workloads
- Reliable, stable internet connection
- Licensed copies of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

How to Apply
Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief note about your relevant experience. We'd love to see examples of work in social media design, email layouts, and photo manipulation.
