Hiring: Video Editors (Long-Form & Short-Form | Remote)

We are a small but growing team looking for reliable video editors who want to grow with us long-term.

This role is best suited for individuals who not only know how to edit but also understand content, including what makes a video engaging, what makes a “hook” work, and how to structure videos that keep attention.


Availability

You can work flexible hours as long as you submit videos on time, but we may require you to be responsive Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Philippine time for feedback and communication.

About the Work

You will be working on both long-form and short-form content, including podcasts and social media clips.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Cutting and structuring long-form content into clean, watchable videos
- Selecting strong short-form clips (not random cuts)
- Ensuring the first 30 seconds (hook) are clear, engaging, and make sense
- Adding clean, accurate captions with proper grammar and phrasing


Requirements

- Strong English comprehension (*MOST IMPORTANT*)
- Must understand context, conversations, and messaging
- Must recognize what makes a hook or clip effective

- Strong attention to detail
- Catch grammar mistakes, caption errors, and awkward phrasing
- Ensure quality, especially in the first 30 seconds

- Good clip selection skills
- Ability to identify meaningful and engaging ---------- nts
- Not just cutting randomly

- Clean captioning skills
- Proper grammar and capitalization
- Natural, easy-to-read phrasing

- Basic editing skills
- Clean cuts
- Simple subtitles
- Clear structure

- Reliable, responsive, and easy to communicate with (WhatsApp/Slack during work hours)

- Able to follow systems, apply feedback, and improve quickly


Tools

You may use tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Da Vinci, CapCut or similar.

Specific tools are less important than output quality.


Compensation
