Video Editor (April 2025 + Long Term)

-The opportunity
This starts as a one-month paid project — 30 videos, paid per video, with clear milestones. We believe the best way to know if we work well together is to actually work together. If the quality is there, communication is solid, and deadlines are met, we move to a permanent monthly arrangement from month two. We're building a long-term content operation and want the right editor at the centre of it.

-The role
We produce internal business content and podcast video at a consistent volume — 30 videos per month. We need an editor who can take raw footage and turn it into clean, professional, on-brand output. This is an output-based role paid per video, not hourly. Quality is the standard. We'd rather wait an extra day for a clean edit than publish something rushed.

-What you'll be editing
Internal business content — talking head footage, screen recordings, educational and promotional videos
Podcast video — two episodes per week, formatted for YouTube and short-form clip repurposing
Short-form cuts pulled from longer content for social distribution
All edits must follow our brand guidelines — colour palette, typography, and overall aesthetic provided


-What we're looking for
A portfolio of edited video work — business, podcast, or professional content preferred. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro — state which software you use
Able to meet fortnightly delivery deadlines — 15 videos per fortnight, approved before payment releases
Strong attention to detail — clean cuts, correct colour, captions where required, brand-consistent output every time
Clear communicator — responsive, flags issues early, and doesn't go quiet when timelines are tight


-Payment structure
Start: One-month paid project
Rate: $10 USD per video
Monthly output: 30 videos
Monthly total: $300 USD
Fortnight 1: $150 USD on approval of 15 videos
Fortnight 2: $150 USD on approval of 15 videos
After month one: Permanent ongoing arrangement for the right person
Approval: Ops Manager
