Pink Parrot Media is a UK based digital media agency which receives dozens of WordPress work per day. All web developers in our team have a wide range of understanding and advance skills in their area. We are looking for a Front-End Web Developers who are motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

This is a long-term position and developers are expected to work on big web development projects.

You should be comfortable doing the following:

-Develop front-end functionality for the websites
-Strong CSS3 and HTML5 skills
-Proficiency with Photoshop and/or Fireworks
-Experience with PHP, JavaScript and JS libraries (e.g., jQuery, Backbone, Angular, D3)
-Experience in adaptive/responsive web development

Preferred qualifications are:


- Experience using/creating WordPress templates, themes, and plugins

- Solid understanding of UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability

- Good front-end development skills and some basic understanding of how back-end development works

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Experience with SEO and SEM is a plus
