Help Wanted: Local SEO Specialist (Contract / Remote)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Local SEO Specialist to assist with executing a proven, systemized process designed to rank local businesses in highly targeted search results.

This is a contract position with flexible hours and consistent ongoing work for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing
Execute a step-by-step Local SEO system (training provided)
Optimize pages for hyper-local search terms (city, zip code, service-based queries)
Implement on-page SEO best practices
Work with structured data and location-based content
Use AI tools to assist with content creation and optimization
Follow documented SOPs to ensure consistency and scalability
Requirements
Basic to intermediate understanding of SEO (local SEO experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems/processes
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, spreadsheets, and CMS platforms
Must have a paid Claude account (we will reimburse the cost)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with programmatic SEO
Experience optimizing for “near me” or zip-code-based searches
Familiarity with Google Business Profiles
Basic understanding of keyword research tools
Compensation
Contract-based (per project or hourly, depending on experience)
Ongoing work available for high performers
Reimbursement for Claude subscription
