WordPress Designer

An opportunity to work as a flexible-hours remote WordPress designer/technician for an Australian Web Design Company.

You will be provided with the opportunity of flexible hours, within very reasonable supervision and performance standards.

For somebody who is sincere about doing well, both financially and in terms of their professional development, this is an ideal opportunity.

We have had some very bad experiences, and some good ones, with technicians and designers from the Philippines, and we recognise both the technology and culture challenges.

We work hard, and we provide this opportunity for someone who wants to earn a better than fair income for a fair day’s work.

Some tasks will be routine (e.g. Updates) while others will be more creative, technical and time consuming.

No-one is going to be watching over your shoulder, but a fair expectation of results for payment is expected.

Work requests (tasking) will be via company email (you will be given an account). We will be available to you fairly solidly between 7am and 4pm your time, via Skype and email, and we strive to not treat team members like cogs in the machinery of business. We are ethical family people and appreciate these values!

The 20 - 40 hours a week of work may be performed, within each week, in the work hours you choose (to a reasonable degree). The only requirements are that:

- You live in a city with reasonable internet services and your ISP delivers a sufficient service level that you can work effectively.
- You advise when you log on and off work (via Skype),
- You are available for Skype conversations at 2 x 1hr periods (which we will establish when you speak with us re preferred hours). These ‘check-in times’ will need to be between 7am and 4pm (Mon to Friday) Philippines time.
- You provide a phone number we can call if all other contact methods are failing (in case of emergency), and
- Hubstaff screen capture software is engaged while working. The software can be turned off at any time and is 100% under your control. It takes screen grabs at random times each hour. These images will only be referenced by us if work output becomes dubious (frankly, we have better things to do with our time).


---Essential---
- WordPress competence in all common work functions.
- Skills, experience in image editing and banners etc.
- CSS
- Divi Theme knowledge is a must.
- Skype account.

---Preferable---
- Your own Adobe Suite software.
- UX and front end design skills.
- Remuneration and Benefits:

If on full time, combined, your total earning and package capability, for a 50 week year will be php 420,000 (or php35,000 / month).

This includes:
- A base pay equivalent to a 40 hour week of php8,400 per week, or php210 per hour.
- This will be paid in the form of a weekly wage, based on hours worked. You will be asked to invoice weekly and will be paid within 3 days (or sooner).
- Potential bonuses of php4,000 (15% est.) paid monthly, based on performance and returns.
- Health care payments are paid (on your behalf) for staff proving their merit.

Please note, as stated, if you work ethically and professionally, generous bonuses will be paid to (we believe in sharing success and investing in good people).

Paid and subsidised training opportunities to develop your skills will also be provided to people who show their worth.
