Schedule: EST 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 20 Hours per Week
Role Overview
A detail-oriented GoHighLevel (GHL) Automation Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CRM workflows and marketing automations within a fast-paced coaching and consulting environment. This role ensures that lead generation systems, client onboarding processes, and internal operational workflows run smoothly through effective automation. The specialist works closely with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to build scalable systems that support client acquisition, communication, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain CRM pipelines within GoHighLevel to ensure leads and clients move efficiently through the sales and service process.
Automation Workflow Development: Design, implement, and optimize automation workflows including
Funnel & Lead Capture Integration: Support the setup and maintenance of funnels, landing pages, and lead capture systems integrated with the CRM.
Client Onboarding Automation: Develop and maintain automated onboarding systems to ensure new clients receive proper communication, instructions, and access.
Marketing Automation Support: Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure campaigns, follow-ups, and nurture sequences are properly automated.
System Integration: Integrate GHL with third-party platforms using tools such as Zapier or native integrations to streamline operational workflows.
Troubleshooting & System Maintenance: Monitor automations, identify technical issues, and ensure systems run reliably without disruption.
Process Optimization: Continuously improve automation workflows to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative work.
Documentation & SOP Support: Document automation processes and contribute to system-related SOPs for internal team reference.
Performance Monitoring: Track workflow performance, lead pipeline activity, and automation effectiveness to support operational reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2–3 years experience working with CRM systems or marketing automation platforms.
Strong experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) including pipelines, workflows, triggers, campaigns, and funnels.
Experience building automated
Familiarity with funnel builders, landing page creation, and lead capture systems.
Experience integrating systems using Zapier or similar automation tools.
Understanding of digital marketing workflows including lead nurturing and follow-up sequences.
Strong problem-solving ability for troubleshooting automation and CRM issues.
Ability to document systems and processes clearly for operational use.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple automation projects in a fast-paced digital business environment.
