Video Editor (Real Estate Content -- Long & Short Form)

I’m a real estate agent based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I create a high volume of content across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to help me produce both long-form and short-form videos on a consistent basis.

This is NOT heavy editing -- no complex effects, animations, or advanced graphics.
However, this role requires extreme attention to detail, especially when it comes to visuals.

What You’ll Be Doing
Edit talking-head videos (cutting, smoothing, pacing)
Add basic captions/subtitles
Insert relevant images and visuals to support what I’m talking about
Ensure videos feel clean, natural, and engaging
Maintain consistent editing style across all content

Most Important Skill (Read Carefully)

A huge part of this role is finding the RIGHT images to match what I’m saying.

You must be able to search online and find accurate, high-quality images
The images must match the exact location, building, or topic being discussed
Using the wrong visuals is a major mistake in this role

Example: If I’m talking about a specific neighborhood or development in Charlotte, you must find the correct, real images of that exact place -- not something similar.

This is the #1 priority for this position.

Requirements
Strong English comprehension (you must clearly understand what I’m saying)
Ability to follow instructions closely
Strong research skills (finding accurate visuals quickly)
Basic video editing skills (cutting, timing, captions)
Reliable and consistent communication
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools

Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience editing real estate content
Familiarity with U.S. cities (especially Charlotte is a plus)
Understanding of short-form content pacing (TikTok/Reels)

Work Style
Ongoing work (multiple videos per week)
Simple editing workflow -- designed for speed and consistency
Clear direction and feedback provided
