ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a creative and data-savvy Social Media Manager to own our presence across platforms. You'll be responsible for crafting compelling content, growing our audience, and translating brand strategy into scroll-stopping posts — all while keeping a close eye on what's working and why.
This is a part-time role with real ownership. You'll work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure our channels feel consistent, fresh, and on-brand every day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
– Develop and execute a social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and others as relevant)
– Create engaging copy, graphics, and short-form video content in line with our brand guidelines
– Monitor, moderate, and engage with our community — responding to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand manner
– Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions) and deliver regular reporting with actionable insights
– Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to keep our content strategy sharp
– Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns, product launches, and company milestones
– Manage paid social campaigns and boost performance of organic content where appropriate
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
– 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or organisation
– Strong copywriting skills with an instinct for tone, voice, and storytelling
– Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
– Hands-on experience with social scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or equivalent)
– Analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting data and turning it into strategy
– Self-directed and organised, able to manage your own time effectively in a part-time structure
– Experience with paid social advertising is a plus
NICE TO HAVE
– Experience in [industry — e.g. retail, tech, hospitality] or a similar sector
– Photography or videography skills for content capture
– Familiarity with influencer or creator partnerships
– Basic SEO understanding and how it relates to social discoverability
