About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Authorization Coordinator to support our pediatric therapy services. This role is responsible for processing incoming authorizations for Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech Therapy (ST), as well as proactively tracking upcoming authorizations to ensure timely renewals. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, review, and process incoming therapy authorizations accurately
• Track authorization utilization and expiration dates for OT, PT, and ST services
• Proactively manage and submit authorization renewal requests to prevent lapses in care
• Communicate with internal teams regarding authorization status, issues, or missing information
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
• Experience with insurance authorizations or healthcare administration preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
