About Us - Seres Capital Partners
We're a real estate investment firm based in Chicago managing a multifamily portfolio across the United States. We also operate short-term rental properties. We're growing toward 3,000 units and need someone sharp with numbers to help us get there.
The Role
We need a Portfolio Analyst to own the data and reporting across our multifamily properties. You'll pull numbers from our property management software, build reports, prep scorecards for weekly leadership meetings, and flag anything that looks off. This role works directly with the CFO and asset management team.
If you've worked in real estate, property management, or finance and you're comfortable in spreadsheets and software systems, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do
Pull and review weekly rent rolls across all properties. Flag delinquencies, vacancies, and anything unusual.
Prep scorecard data before our weekly L10 leadership meetings so the team walks in ready.
Pull financial data from AppFolio, Yardi, and Entrata. Organize it into clean, usable reports.
Build monthly variance reports comparing actual expenses to budget. Flag items that are off by more than 10%.
Support the asset management team with ad hoc data requests and analysis.
Track occupancy, collections, and expense trends across the portfolio.
Help build and maintain dashboards so leadership can see portfolio performance at a glance.
What We're Looking For
Experience pulling data from property management software.
Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills. You should be comfortable with formulas and organizing data.
Detail oriented.
Clear communicator. You'll send reports to the team weekly. They need to be clean and easy to read.
Self starter. We'll train you on our systems, but you should be the type who figures things out without being told every step.
Reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
