About CAIT Connect
CAIT Connect is a next-generation GenAI platform built for families — designed to help parents manage daily life, caregiving, medical needs, and everything in between. Think: ChatGPT, but built specifically for family life — with memory, shared caregiving, tracking, and real-time support. We are preparing for launch and looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to help ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for thousands of families.
Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for identifying bugs, validating features, and ensuring the CAIT app works reliably across different real-life use cases. This is not just technical QA — we are looking for someone who can think like a parent/user and catch issues that impact real-world experience.
Responsibilities
Test new features across iOS (and future Android) builds
Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira
Reproduce issues and clearly describe steps, expected vs. actual behavior
Perform regression testing before releases
Validate key flows:
- onboarding
- shared caregiving
- daily logs / summaries
- calendar sync
- photo & video uploads
Test edge cases (time zones, delays, sync issues, etc.)
Collaborate with product and engineering teams for quick bug resolution
Provide feedback on UX issues, not just technical bugs
Requirements
Experience as a QA Tester for mobile apps (iOS required)
Strong familiarity with Jira (bug tracking, tickets, workflows)
Ability to write clear, structured bug reports
High attention to detail — nothing slips past you
Comfortable testing real-world scenarios (not just scripts)
Strong communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience testing AI or chat-based applications
Background in healthcare, caregiving, or family-focused apps
Experience with TestFlight
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
Someone who:
- Notices the small things others miss
- Thinks in real-life scenarios (not just features)
- Moves fast but stays extremely precise
- Cares about building something meaningful for families
