Performance Video Editor for Meta Ads (eCommerce + AI Tools)

We are looking for a performance-focused video editor who can create high-converting Meta Ads for eCommerce brands.

This role is for someone who understands direct-response advertising, not just video editing.

You will take:

scripts
product details
brand briefs
creative direction
references

and turn them into video ads designed for Facebook and Instagram.

In many cases, raw footage will not be available, so you must be comfortable sourcing or creating the visual material needed using:

stock footage
organic-style clips
simple motion graphics
static images
AI-assisted workflows
Main responsibilities:
Create video ads for Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)
Turn scripts and briefs into direct-response creatives
Source or create visuals when raw footage is not available
Edit in 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1 formats
Create strong hooks, pacing, text overlays, subtitles, and CTAs
Make creative variations for testing
Use AI tools when useful to improve speed and execution
Follow feedback and revise quickly
Required:
Experience editing ads for Meta Ads / paid social
Strong understanding of direct-response structure
Ability to work from script + brief + references
Good taste in pacing and ad storytelling
Comfortable using CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
Comfortable using AI tools as part of your workflow
Good written English
Reliable communication and attention to detail
Nice to have:
eCommerce experience
UGC ad experience
Experience with emotional/lifestyle brands
Familiarity with creative testing
