SHORT-FORM VIDEO EDITOR (REELS, SHORTS, TIKTOK)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking talented short-form video editors to join our team on a part-time, weekly basis. In this role, you will transform talking-head and story-based content into engaging, scroll-stopping reels (30–90 seconds) for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
We work with a wide range of clients, including leading companies, social influencers, and not-for-profit organizations.
This is a long-term opportunity for reliable editors looking for consistent, flexible work.

WORK SCHEDULE & SETUP
• Work 1 full day per week (you will choose a preferred day, which will be fixed, but can be adjusted upon request)
• You will receive 3-5 videos per workday (batch)
• Raw footage will be provided 1–2 days in advance
• Draft delivery required within the same day or agreed timeframe
• Revisions (if needed) handled promptly

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Transform raw footage into polished short-form reels by:
• Cutting filler words, pauses, and mistakes for smooth flow
• Adding relevant b-roll, images, or stock footage where needed
• Creating clean, auto-generated captions with consistent styling
• Using engaging cuts, transitions, and pacing to improve retention
• Applying basic color correction and audio enhancement
• Delivering ready-to-post reels via Google Drive

WORKFLOW
• Raw footage shared via Google Drive
• Communication via WhatsApp / Google Docs/ Trello
• Ongoing weekly collaboration

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT
• Experience editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Ability to source b-roll, images, or simple graphics
• Understanding of social media trends and viewer retention

COMPENSATION
• $10 per reel
• Typical output: 3 reels per workday = $30 per day
• Consistent weekly work with potential to increase volume over time
