JOB OVERVIEW

================================================================
JOB TITLE:
YouTube Video Editor — 2D Animation POV Storytelling Channel
================================================================

JOB OVERVIEW
----------------------------------------------------------------
I am building a faceless YouTube channel in the POV
storytelling niche — think Mr. POV Explainer and The Life
Outline. These channels get millions of views producing
cinematic 2D animation videos about criminal organisations,
military ranks, and immersive first-person narratives.

I have everything ready to hand to you:
- Full scripts written for every video
- All image prompts (120+ per video, already written)
- Thumbnail briefs
- Style reference channels and examples
- A detailed production workflow document

Your job is to take these assets and produce a finished,
upload-ready YouTube video every week.

This is a long-term position. If you deliver great work,
you will have consistent full-time income from this channel
as it grows.

================================================================
REFERENCE CHANNELS — WATCH THESE BEFORE APPLYING
----------------------------------------------------------------
Please watch at least one full video from each channel so
you understand exactly what I am building:

Channel 1: Mr. POV Explainer
----------

Channel 2: The Life Outline
----------

The style I want matches these channels exactly:
- 2D animated characters (simple oval head, dot eyes,
flat mouth) composited onto AI-generated backgrounds
- Soft, cinematic, slightly desaturated colour palette
- Slow Ken Burns motion on each image (zoom in/out)
- Calm voiceover narration over atmospheric music
- Clean text cards showing rank/level titles between sections

================================================================
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES EACH VIDEO
----------------------------------------------------------------
1. IMAGE GENERATION
- Use the written prompts I provide to generate all
scene images in Nano Banana Pro or similar AI tool
- Each video requires approximately 120–130 images
- Images must match the 2D animation style of the
reference channels

2. CHARACTER
- Create and maintain one consistent 2D cartoon
character per video using the master character prompt
I provide
- Character must look the same in every scene

3. VIDEO ASSEMBLY
- Import all images into Higgsfield or CapCut
- Apply slow Ken Burns (zoom/pan) motion to each image
- Sync images to the voiceover narration timing
(approximately 5 seconds per image)
- Add atmospheric background music (low in the mix)
- Add rank/level text cards between sections
- Add subscribe CTA at the end

4. VOICEOVER
- Generate AI voiceover using ElevenLabs (I will
provide account access or cover the cost)
- Voice style: calm, measured, American neutral accent
- NOT dramatic — cold and matter-of-fact delivery

5. THUMBNAIL
- Create the thumbnail in Canva following the brief
I provide
- Style: hyper-realistic AI portrait, hand-drawn arrow,
bold red/white text overlay (Impact font)
- Matches the style of The Life Outline thumbnails

6. FINAL DELIVERY
- Upload-ready MP4 file (1080p minimum, 16:9)
- Separate thumbnail file (1280x720px JPG)
- Delivered via Google Drive

================================================================
TOOLS YOU NEED TO KNOW (OR BE WILLING TO LEARN FAST)
----------------------------------------------------------------
ESSENTIAL:
- CapCut or DaVinci Resolve (video editing/assembly)
- Canva (thumbnail creation)
- ElevenLabs (AI voiceover generation)
- Nano Banana Pro OR Midjourney (AI image generation)

HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Higgsfield (AI video motion tool)
- Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects

If you do not know all of these tools right now but are
a fast learner with strong video editing fundamentals,
please still apply and tell me which ones you know.

================================================================
WHAT A GREAT APPLICANT LOOKS LIKE
----------------------------------------------------------------
- You have edited YouTube videos before, especially
long-form (8–15 minute) content
- You understand retention-driven editing — you know why
pacing matters and how to keep viewers watching
- You are comfortable using AI tools and learning new ones
- You communicate clearly and respond quickly
- You take ownership — you don't wait to be chased
- You can follow a detailed brief and produce consistent
results without needing constant supervision
- You are honest about your abilities and timeline

================================================================
WHAT THIS IS NOT
----------------------------------------------------------------
- This is NOT a short-term project. I want someone long-term.
- This is NOT for beginners who have never edited a full
YouTube video before.
- This is NOT for people who will go silent for days
without communication.

================================================================
DELIVERABLES & TIMELINE
----------------------------------------------------------------
- 1 completed video per week to start
- Potential to increase to 2 per week as the channel grows
- Each video: 10–12 minutes finished runtime
- Deadline: 5 days from receiving the script and prompts
- Revision policy: up to 2 rounds of revisions per video

================================================================
HOW TO APPLY
----------------------------------------------------------------
Send me a message with the following — applications
without ALL of these will not be considered:

1. A link to at least ONE YouTube video you have edited
(must be long-form, 8+ minutes)

2. Which tools from the list above you currently use

3. Your honest timeline — how long would ONE video take
you from receiving all assets to final delivery?

4. Your rate per video

5. ONE sentence about why this specific type of content
interests you

IMPORTANT: Start your message with the word YAKUZA
so I know you read this job post in full. Applications
that do not start with this word will be ignored.

================================================================
FINAL NOTE
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have already done the hard work. The scripts are written.
The image prompts are written. The thumbnail briefs are done.
The style guide is documented. All you need to do is execute.

If you are organised, fast, and can match the quality of
the reference channels — this is a great long-term
opportunity with room to grow.

I look forward to hearing from you.
