Job Description
The Private Label Listing Associate is responsible for the creation, optimization, maintenance, and performance monitoring of all Private Label listings across various sales channels, including Amazon and retail platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and consistent communication with the Private Label Divisional Manager and other departments.
Conversion-Focused Copywriting & Optimization
• Conduct keyword research and implement optimization strategies for all Private Label listings.
• Create and manage listing copy, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, and Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) for both new and existing listings.
• Ensure all listing content complies with the policies, requirements, and regulations of each sales channel.
• Track and document all listing updates within the Optimization Tracker whenever changes are made.
Listing Maintenance & Monitoring
• Conduct daily reviews of all Private Label listings using the Listing Review Tracker to ensure there are no issues such as suppressed listings, missing content, or compliance problems.
• Address and resolve listing issues in a timely manner.
• Perform weekly checks for suppressed listings on Amazon and take immediate corrective action when necessary.
• Conduct monthly in-depth listing reviews, including:
o Customer reviews
o Pricing competitiveness
o Keyword performance
o Product ranking
o Overall listing health
Product & Market Research
• Conduct ongoing competitor research to ensure all Private Label products remain competitive in pricing, positioning, and listing quality.
• Perform deep-dive research on potential new product ideas to determine feasibility, demand, competition level, and potential profitability.
• Present product research findings and recommendations to the Private Label Divisional Manager.
• Assist in identifying potential product gaps and expansion opportunities within the Private Label catalog.
Supplier & Product Development Support
• Assist in researching and identifying potential suppliers for new Private Label products when necessary.
• Support the Divisional Manager in evaluating supplier capabilities, product specifications, and customization opportunities.
Product Launch Management
• Utilize and maintain the Product Launch Checklist for all new product launches.
• Ensure all launch deadlines and milestones set by the Divisional Manager are met.
• Add all new SKUs to Amazon and other sales channels, ensuring all information is 100?curate before publication.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
• Partner with the Graphics Manager to develop listing images, features and benefits, and Enhanced Brand Content.
• Submit finalized features and benefits to the Private Label Divisional Manager for approval.
• Upload all new graphics and EBC content across sales channels and confirm correct placement.
• Work closely with the Advertising Manager to identify underperforming listings and implement improvement strategies.
• Provide the Advertising Manager with all vetted and relevant keywords for advertising campaigns.
Customer Feedback Monitoring
• Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and listing questions.
• Escalate product quality concerns, listing issues, or recurring customer complaints to the appropriate department.
Reporting & Product Evaluations
• Conduct monthly product performance evaluations and present findings to the team with recommendations to improve product performance.
• Track keyword performance and listing updates to measure the effectiveness of optimization strategies.
Amazon Support Communication
• Communicate with Amazon Seller Support when necessary to resolve listing issues, suppressed listings, or other problems affecting Private Label products.
Meetings
• Participate in the weekly Private Label meeting as requested.

Mandatory Daily Responsibilities & Accountability
The following responsibilities are mandatory for all workdays:
• Consistently monitor and respond to
• Maintain open and proactive communication with the Private Label Divisional Manager.
• At the beginning of your shift every Monday, send a message to the Divisional Manager outlining the planned priorities and tasks for the week.
• Utilize and maintain the Daily Task Tracker to document work completed and ensure accountability.
• Keep task tracking updated in real time throughout the day.

Chain of Command
The Private Label Listing Associate reports directly to the Private Label Divisional Manager.
From time to time, the Operations Manager and/or Executive Committee members may provide direction or supervision related to special projects or company initiatives.

Hours
Generally, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
