Short-Form Content Editor (TikTok / Reels / Shorts)

I’m looking for a high-level short-form video editor to help scale my content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This is NOT just a basic editing role.

I need someone who understands how to create content that holds attention, keeps viewers watching, and performs well on these platforms.

About me:
I run an Amazon FBA business and mentorship brand. Content is currently my main source of leads, so performance matters more than volume.

What you’ll be doing:

Editing short-form videos (10–120 seconds)
Cutting clips from long-form content
Adding engaging subtitles, sound effects, and visual elements
Improving pacing and removing anything boring or unnecessary
Suggesting better hooks where needed
Repurposing content into multiple formats (story clips, punch clips, carousel-style videos)

What I’m looking for:

Strong understanding of TikTok / Reels content
Ability to edit for retention (this is key)
Fast-paced editing style (no dead time)
Good instinct for what makes people stop scrolling
Can follow a clear content style but also bring ideas
Reliable and detail-oriented (no basic mistakes)

Bonus if you:

Have worked with creators in business / money niche
Can identify viral ---------- nts from long-form content
Understand storytelling + hooks
