MS Dynamics / Business Central Developer

About the Role

TGI Direct is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MS Dynamics / Business Central Developer to support and enhance our internal systems and business processes.

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability across the organization.

This is not a task-based role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, understands business needs, and proactively builds solutions that simplify and streamline operations.


Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Build and maintain extensions using AL and related technologies
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, sales) to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Integrate Business Central with other systems and tools (e.g., CRM, third-party platforms)
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, and performance concerns
- Maintain data integrity and ensure system reliability
- Support system upgrades, testing, and deployment processes
- Document technical processes, workflows, and system configurations
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve and automate business processes

Requirements
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong experience in AL development and extensions
- Understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and data structures
- Experience with integrations (APIs, web services, third-party tools)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership


Nice to Have
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies (Power Automate, Power BI, Azure)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Planner etc.)
- Experience in operations-heavy or production environments
- Background in finance, supply chain, or ERP implementations
