Video Editor – Paid Ads (DTC Apparel Brand)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a Video Editor with strong experience creating high-performing paid ads for DTC brands.
Our brand grows through paid social ads, landing pages, and campaigns, meaning the videos we produce must stop the scroll, capture attention instantly, and drive conversions.
You’ll join a fast-moving team working closely with marketing, creative, and growth, producing video creatives used across Meta, TikTok, and other paid platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who has already worked with direct-to-consumer brands, especially within:
* fashion
* apparel
* lingerie / underwear
* female-focused brands
You should understand that in DTC, video editing is not just about aesthetics — it directly impacts performance.

Your Role
Your main focus will be creating high-performing short-form video creatives for paid ads.

Paid Social Ads
Edit scroll-stopping short-form videos used for paid marketing across:
* TikTok
* Instagram Reels
* Meta Ads
You should understand:
* strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds
* pacing for retention
* visual storytelling for conversion
* ad structures that drive performance

UGC Ad Editing
Edit UGC-style ads that feel native and authentic.
This includes:
* testimonial style videos
* product demonstrations
* problem / solution formats
* lifestyle storytelling
The edits should feel natural, fast-paced, and platform-native.

Creative Iteration
Work with the team to create multiple variations of ads for testing, including:
* new hooks
* different openings
* different pacing or formats
This is a performance-driven creative environment, where we continuously test and improve creatives.

Trend & Format Adaptation
Stay on top of:
* TikTok trends
* viral formats
* editing styles
* trending sounds
and adapt them into paid ad creatives.

Required Experience
This role requires experience editing videos for DTC brands.
You must have experience creating:
* paid social ads
* UGC-style ads
* short-form video content
* TikTok / Reels style edits
Strong preference for editors who have worked with:
* fashion brands
* apparel brands
* lingerie or underwear brands
* female-focused brands

Editing Skills
You should have strong understanding of:
* scroll-stopping hooks
* retention-driven editing
* pacing and storytelling
* conversion-driven ad formats
* UGC style editing
We are looking for editors who understand how video creative affects performance metrics like CTR, watch time, and conversions.

Tools & Workflow
Please mention the tools you work with.
Typical tools include:
* Adobe Premiere Pro
* After Effects
* CapCut Pro
* Final Cut Pro
AI tools and workflows are a big advantage, including:
* Nano Banana
* Runway
* ElevenLabs (AI voiceover)
* Descript
* Midjourney
