>> Read this before you apply > About Wovvo
Wovvo is a UGC platform built by two founders who got tired of watching talented creators struggle to find paid work. We’re bootstrapping in public, and we’re building the go-to destination for creators who want real brand deals, with a strong branded portfolio to go with it.
Part of our mission: helping creators present themselves like professionals on their Canva website (UGC portfolio). That’s where you come in.
>> What You’ll Actually Do
You’ll be redesigning UGC creator portfolios from the ground up. Sometimes it’s re-vamp where the creator provides portfolio. Other times it’s from scratch. It’s not just making them look nice, but making them convert. Every portfolio you work on should answer one question for the brand looking at it: “Why should I hire this creator?”
>> Day-to-day, that looks like:
Auditing existing creator portfolios and identifying what’s killing their conversion rate
Rebuilding portfolio structure, messaging, visual hierarchy, and credibility signals
Creating high-end portfolio designs in Canva that look custom, not 2016 style
Designing compelling case study sections, testimonial layouts, and video showcases
Using AI tools to speed up your workflow without sacrificing quality or originality
Use Canva features to make high-end quality website that reflects the creators personal brand
Turning around polished, brand-ready portfolios within tight timelines (target: ~7 hours per portfolio)
>> This Role Is NOT For You If…
You think “good design” means picking a nice Canva template and swapping the text
You can’t explain WHY a design works, you just “feel” it
You’ve never thought about conversion, brand psychology, or what makes someone say yes
You need 3+ days to finish a single portfolio
You don’t use AI in your workflow (or don’t see the point)
You think “designer” and “strategist” are two different roles
>> This Role IS For You If…
You can look at a portfolio and immediately spot what’s holding it back
You understand that design is a tool for persuasion, not just aesthetics
You know how to make a portfolio look “high-end” and can articulate exactly what that means
You’re fast, structured, and can manage your own workflow without hand-holding
You use AI to accelerate your process, not replace your thinking
You’re genuinely excited about the creator economy and helping people land brand deals
>> Must-haves:
Advanced Canva skills (not beginner, not “I use templates” actually advanced)
Strong visual design eye: typography, spacing, hierarchy, color
Portfolio or case study experience (show us work, not just a resume)
Understanding of conversion design: how layout and messaging drive action
Experience with AI design tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of your process
Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality (~7 hour turnaround per portfolio)
>> Bonus points:
Experience in the UGC or creator economy space
Understanding of what brands and agencies actually look for when hiring creators
Background in marketing, branding, or landing page design

How We Evaluate
We’re scoring on 6 dimensions. Design ability is only one of them.
>> WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Design Thinking: Can you diagnose problems and prioritize fixes, not just make things look nice?
Conversion Awareness: Do you understand why a brand says yes or no? Do your changes drive action?
Creativity & Originality: Are your ideas fresh, or are they the same suggestions everyone gives?
Brand Psychology: Do you understand how credibility, trust, and positioning work visually?
Structure & Balance: Can you organize information so it flows logically and looks intentional?
Strategic Thinking: Do you think like a strategist who designs, or a designer who guesses?
