Video Editor for Social Media Content - Mainly short form.

We are a growing local service business seeking a reliable video editor to transform raw footage into engaging short-form content.

This is a long-term role for someone who can consistently deliver high-quality edits while following a defined style and workflow.

Your Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Deliver approximately 40–50 short-form videos per month
Add captions, hook text, and clean cuts
Remove dead space and maintain strong pacing
Match the style and tone of provided examples
Batch edit content when needed
Communicate clearly and maintain consistent output

Secondary

Edit 2–4 long-form YouTube videos per month (basic editing)
Optionally identify and extract short clips from long-form content


You will be editing content such as:

Day-in-the-life videos
Job updates and progress clips
POV-style content
Before and after transformations
Satisfying, quick-cut visuals

The editing style should be:

Fast-paced
Clean and engaging
Native to TikTok/Reels (not over-edited)

What We Provide:
Raw video clips via Google Drive
Clear direction, ideas, and reference examples

This role is focused on execution. Full content strategy is not required.

Requirements:
Proven experience editing short-form content
Strong sense of timing, pacing, and humor
Ability to follow references and match style
Reliable and consistent output
Comfortable working with batch content
Compensation:
$400–$500 per month, depending on experience
Includes:
40–50 short-form videos per month
2–4 long-form videos per month

Additional work beyond this scope will be compensated separately.
