JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Controller to manage and coordinate production activities within an electronics manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth production flow, timely delivery, and efficient use of materials and resources.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working across multiple functions including production, purchasing, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, create, and continuously adjust production schedules to meet delivery timelines while considering material availability and workforce capacity.
Coordinate daily production activities and allocate tasks to ensure efficient workflow on the production floor.
Monitor production progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and take corrective action to keep operations on track.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring materials and components are available when needed without overstocking.
Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to align material requirements with production plans.
Handle purchasing activities, including sourcing from multiple suppliers and securing alternatives when required.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers through email, phone, or other channels.
Update and manage data within MRP/ERP systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Generate reports and provide insights to support operational and management decisions.
Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to workflow optimization initiatives.
Ensure all production activities comply with company standards, quality requirements, and safety

Requirements
Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM).
Hands-on experience with MRP or ERP systems.
Background in inventory control and stock management.
Experience in purchasing and supplier coordination.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to handle technical information and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong research skills and ability to solve problems proactively.
Highly organized with the ability to follow processes and instructions accurately.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Naturally curious and inquisitive mindset.
