About Us
We are a holistic pet care brand looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who is also a proven strategist who understands the difference between posting content and building something.
We operate a purpose-built wellness environment in Culver City, CA, where every detail is intentionally designed to support pet health. Our audience is educated, values-driven, and growing. We need someone who can meet them where they are and bring more people into the conversation.
This is not a role for someone looking to manage a feed. This is a role for someone who thinks in categories, builds audiences, and executes without being managed.
What You'll Do
Publish 4 pieces of content per day across Instagram, TikTok,
Develop and manage a monthly content calendar rooted in our core brand pillars
Produce and post short-form video, Reels, carousels, stories, and static posts
Write captions and scripts that educate first and sell second — our voice is calm, knowledgeable, and authoritative, never pushy
Monitor analytics weekly — track what's growing, what's stalling, and adjust accordingly
Collaborate with our content team (video editors, graphic designers) to brief, review, and approve assets
Maintain strict brand language consistency — our terminology is specific and non-negotiable
Identify trends and content opportunities relevant to pet wellness, holistic health, and lifestyle audiences
Engage with our community in the comments and DMs in a way that reflects our brand voice
What You Must Bring
3+ years managing social media for a business, brand, or client — not just personal accounts
A portfolio or live accounts you can show us right now — results, not just posts
Proven ability to publish high-volume content consistently (4x/day or equivalent output)
Strong grasp of short-form video strategy — hooks, pacing, captions, and platform-native formats
Excellent writing and storytelling skills — you can turn a complex idea into a clear, compelling caption
Comfort working with brand guidelines and messaging frameworks — you follow rules before you break them
Ability to read analytics and make strategic decisions based on data, not guesses
Self-directed and deadline-driven — you don't wait to be told what to post
Bonus Skills
Experience in health, wellness, lifestyle, or pet industry content
Familiarity with StoryBrand, Category Design, or value-first content frameworks
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Reels editor, or similar)
Experience growing an account from under 5K to meaningful engagement
Understanding of SEO for social — hashtags, keywords, searchability
Canva or Adobe proficiency for quick asset creation
