We are currently on the hunt to find expert web designers & developers to join our growing team to design and develop web applications through Shopify and other web development programmes.

We have a huge client base of E commerce stores, these clients all run their business’ via shopify’s Ecommerce platform, for this reason Iroko DGP require a Shopify Expert (Developer) to develop/make changes to existing shopify themes. To help turn big ideas into fully-functioning websites.

Web Front End Developer

Hey,
Iroko DGP are currently looking for ambitious candidate(s) who want to grow and expand their knowledge in all realms of online marketing, with specific skills in front-end and back-end development. If you think this could be the career for you then please get in touch and apply.
Front-end website development and Shopify theme development will be your primary role using open source Linux based software (no Microsoft products here). You will also be involved in creative and client meetings.

Shopify Requirements:
Customize the look-and-feel of existing shopify themes by using the shopify settings_schema.json file,
Add alternate templates on shopify themes
Use Shopify’s open source theme framework, Timber. Develop shopify theme liquid
Develop/Code Shopify's theme structure - using the following directories: Assets, Config, Layout, Locales, Sections, Snippets,Templates
Use the JavaScript Buy SDK to add a streamlined payment experience to any website.
Use the Mobile Buy SDK to surface a Shopify store's products and checkout in a mobile app using native mobile GUI elements powered by Shopify's ecommerce tools.
Use the Unity Buy SDK to add in-game purchases in Unity that connect with products in Shopify.

Additional Requirements:
HTML and CSS
JavaScript / jQuery
CSS frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap)
Interacting with RESTful services (APIs)
Version control systems (Git)
Unit-testing and debugging

Desirable
JavaScript frameworks (Angular, VueJS, ReactJS, Ember, Backbone or others)
CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS)
Accessibility, Responsive Design, Cross-Browser Development
Experience with build tools (e.g. Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, Shopify, Wordpress)
Agency experience

Expectations:
If there is a technical issue with the theme developed (for example: broken layout, dead link, logic error) you will be responsible for fixing the issue in a timely fashion (Within seven working days). Critical bugs must be fixed immediately (Two working days).
The required candidate must follow Shopify's liquid file checklist and meet Liquid file requirements for themes used on the Shopify Theme store, please find attached link for these guidelines:



Web/UI Designer

We are looking for someone with at least two years agency experience and/or a relevant degree. The majority of our work is digital and you will be needed to take ownership or projects assigned and deliver outstanding work from concept to completion.
Due to the main focus being digital we are looking for someone that has an obsession with UX and UI design. We require Sketchs for wire-framing and design. Our planning process for websites requires an understanding of user personas and site architecture. We’d be prepared to teach you the process if you are keen to learn and deliver the quality our clients desire.

Requirements
You will have a proven track record of creating and implementing slick and contemporary designs.
2 years agency experience and/or a relevant degree
Wire-frames and UI design
UX design and prototyping
Unique Bespoke Designs
Optimised SEO Friendly Code
Shopify Web Design

Communication is key - The successful candidate will be required to present regular feedback on the performance of work to ensure our projects have a guaranteed success rate. Whilst working together we will use the project management tool Asana, this will help keep everyone on track and communicate about the different tasks assigned at the given time.
