We are a small, fast-moving team that runs multi-million-dollar e-commerce brands and an Amazon services agency. We are now building our own software products — and we need a developer who can take AI-prototyped concepts and turn them into fully functional, deployable, sellable applications.
We have three active product tracks that need an engineer to own:
1. A health and fitness mobile/web app (MVP stage — core features designed, needs full build-out)
2. An Amazon seller SaaS tool / back-end application (data-driven, integrates with Amazon APIs)
3. Custom business intelligence dashboards that need to be converted into standalone, client-facing apps
These are not theoretical ideas. We have wireframes, functional prototypes built with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0, Replit), and clear product specs. What we need is a developer who can take these from "working demo" to "production-ready product" — with clean code, real databases, authentication, deployment, and scalability.
We are NOT looking for someone who only follows instructions. We need a builder — someone who can look at a prototype, identify what needs to be rebuilt properly, architect the right solution, and ship it. If you have only done maintenance work on existing codebases and have never shipped a product from scratch, this role is not for you.
WHO YOU ARE
• You have 3+ years of full stack development experience with modern frameworks
• You have shipped at least one product from concept to production (app store, SaaS launch, or client deployment)
• You are proficient in React / Next.js for front-end and Node.js or Python for back-end
• You have experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Supabase) and can design schemas from scratch
• You understand authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, role-based access)
• You have deployed applications to production environments (Vercel, AWS, Railway, Render, or similar)
• You can work with APIs — both building them and integrating third-party APIs (including Amazon SP-API, Stripe, etc.)
• You are comfortable with mobile-responsive web apps or React Native / Flutter for mobile builds
• You have experience working with AI-generated code (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, v0, Replit Agent) and can refactor, debug, and improve AI-written codebases
• You can own a product end-to-end: architecture decisions, database design, front-end, back-end, testing, deployment
• You communicate clearly in English and can participate in weekly video calls with the US-based team
• You are self-directed, can manage your own priorities, and deliver on deadlines without daily check-ins
PRODUCT TRACKS YOU WILL OWN
1. HEALTH & FITNESS APP (MVP BUILD)
• Build out the full MVP for a health and fitness application designed for endurance athletes and active lifestyle users
• Core features include: user profiles, workout/activity logging, goal tracking, progress dashboards, push notifications, and social/community elements
• Mobile-first design (progressive web app or React Native) with clean, modern UI
• User authentication, onboarding flow, and data persistence
• Integration with third-party fitness APIs (Strava, Apple Health, Google Fit) is a future phase but architecture should support it
• Goal: shippable MVP ready for beta testing within 60–90 days of hire
2. AMAZON SELLER SAAS TOOL
• Build a back-end application / SaaS product that serves Amazon sellers
• Features may include: product research dashboards, PPC analytics, keyword tracking, inventory forecasting, or profitability calculators
• Must integrate with Amazon SP-API (Selling Partner API) for data pulls
• Secure multi-tenant architecture so multiple users/clients can access their own data
• Admin panel for user management, billing (Stripe integration), and feature gating
• Goal: functional beta with core feature set within 90–120 days
3. DASHBOARD-TO-APP CONVERSION
• We have existing business intelligence dashboards (built in Google Sheets, Notion, and AI-prototyped web apps) that need to be converted into standalone, polished applications
• Rebuild dashboards as proper web apps with real-time data, filters, user roles, and export functionality
• Clean UI/UX that is client-presentable — not a developer prototype
• Goal: first dashboard conversion complete within 30–45 days as an onboarding project

• Lead the technical team as we scale and hire additional developers
• Earn equity or revenue share in products you help build and launch
• Shape the technical direction of the entire product portfolio
• Grow into a CTO or Technical Lead role
HOW TO APPLY — READ CAREFULLY
We read every application carefully. To be considered, your submission MUST include ALL of the following:
1. Your updated resume or CV highlighting relevant projects you have shipped
2. A portfolio or GitHub profile with examples of applications you have built (not just tutorials or coursework — we need to see real products)
3. A brief cover letter (3–5 sentences) explaining: what you have built, what your strongest technical skills are, and why you want this role
4. Links to 1–3 live applications or projects you have deployed to production (with a brief description of your role and the tech stack used)
5. A list of AI development tools you currently use and how they fit into your workflow
6. Your expected monthly rate in USD
?? REQUIRED SCREENING TEST — DO NOT SKIP ??
Applications that do not include the answers to ALL of the tasks below will be AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED. This is how we verify you have read the full job posting and have the skills we need.
--- TASK 1: APPLICATION CODE ---
Begin your application message with the exact phrase:
"I Build Products — MYAMZ-DEV-2026"
This confirms you read the full posting. Applications missing this code will not be reviewed.
--- TASK 2: ARCHITECTURE MINI-BRIEF ---
You are tasked with building an MVP for a fitness tracking app that allows users to log workouts, set goals, track progress over time, and view a personal dashboard with charts. The app needs user authentication, a database, and must work well on mobile devices.
In 300–500 words, outline:
• Your recommended tech stack and why (front-end, back-end, database, hosting)
• Your database schema approach — what are the core tables/collections and their relationships?
• How you would structure the project for a 60-day MVP timeline (what ships in week 1–2, week 3–4, week 5–8?)
• One specific way you would use an AI development tool to accelerate this build
--- TASK 3: CODE SAMPLE ---
Provide ONE of the following:
Option A: A link to a GitHub repo of a project you built (not a tutorial clone) with a brief explanation of the architecture
Option B: A link to a live deployed application you built with a description of the tech stack and your role
Option C: A short screen recording (under 5 minutes) walking through a codebase you wrote, explaining your architecture decisions and how you would improve it today
--- TASK 4: AI CODE REFACTOR ---
Below is a simple React component generated by AI. Review it and rewrite it with improvements. In your submission, include: (a) your improved version of the code, and (b) a brief explanation of what you changed and why.
```
import React, { useState, useEffect } from 'react';
function Dashboard() {
const [data, setData] = useState(null);
const [loading, setLoading] = useState(true);
useEffect(() => {
fetch('/api/dashboard')
.then(res => res.json())
.then(data => {
setData(data);
setLoading(false);
})
.catch(err => {
console.log(err);
setLoading(false);
});
}, []);
if (loading) return Loading...;
return (
Dashboard
{data && data.revenue}
{data && data.orders}
{data && data.customers}
);
}
export default Dashboard;
```
Issues to look for: error handling, loading/error states, type safety, component structure, accessibility, performance, and code organization. We want to see how you think about code quality.
We are building real products, not doing spec work. If you are a builder who ships and wants to grow with a fast-moving team, we want to hear from you.
Apply now. We review applications on a rolling basis.
