JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Bookkeeper & Client Relations Specialist to join our team. This role combines strong bookkeeping expertise with client-facing responsibilities, including conducting video conferences and maintaining professional client relationships. The ideal candidate has excellent English communication skills, strong financial accuracy, and the ability to confidently present and explain financial information to clients.

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping Duties

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets

Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Maintain organized and accurate client financial documentation

Client Communication & Video Conferencing

Conduct professional video meetings with clients to review financial reports and bookkeeping updates

Explain financial data in a clear and understandable manner

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships

Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met

Required Qualifications

Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Comfortable and confident conducting video conferences with clients

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms preferred)

Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently

Professional and client-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a client-facing or consulting role

Speak Excellent English

Experience with remote communication tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms

Experience with Quickbooks Online (Required)

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
