JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and reliable video editor + graphic designer to support ongoing social media content for a modern, professional service-based brand.

This role includes editing short-form video content (Instagram Reels) as well as designing static posts and carousels in Canva.

This is a part-time role to start, with the opportunity to grow into a long-term/full-time position as the company expands.


What You’ll Be Working On:

- Content is centered around:
- Short-form educational videos
- Personality-driven talking head clips
- Day-in-the-life content
- Clean, modern static graphics
- Quote-style and educational carousel posts

This is NOT overly trendy or chaotic TikTok editing.
We’re looking for a clean, modern, elevated style.


Responsibilities:

- Edit 10–30 second vertical videos (Instagram Reels)
- Add clean subtitles (easy to read, well-timed)
- Cut clips for strong pacing and flow
- Add light transitions, zooms, and music where appropriate
- Design static posts and carousels in Canva
- Follow brand direction while also contributing creative ideas
- Stay aware of relevant trends (but apply them thoughtfully)

Style Examples of Content:

- “Meet the Therapist” intro videos
- Day-in-the-life (DITL) clips
- Educational “hot take” content
- Quote-style graphics (clean, bold, modern)
- Carousel posts explaining concepts in a simple way

The overall goal is content that feels:

- warm
- relatable
- modern
- professional


Requirements:

- Strong experience with CapCut (or similar video editing software)
- Strong experience with Canva
- Ability to create clean, modern designs
- Strong attention to detail
- Good English comprehension (for subtitles + captions)
- Ability to follow direction AND think creatively
- Reliable communication and turnaround time (24–48 hours)
