OUTBOUND CAMPAIGN OPERATOR — COLD

Lead Searchers is a specialist outbound growth firm helping UK service companies generate high-value commercial opportunities through targeted cold
We work primarily with UK B2B service industries, helping them secure early conversations with decision-makers.
Our campaigns are built to generate real revenue conversations while protecting domain reputation and long-term deliverability.
We are now hiring an Outbound Campaign Operator to own campaign execution and performance.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is not a support role.
You will be responsible for running outbound cold
Your role is to ensure campaigns are well targeted, technically sound, and continuously improving.
Over time, the goal is for you to fully own the operational side of outbound, allowing the founder to focus on sales and growth.
You will be expected to identify issues, suggest improvements, and take responsibility for results.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Ownership
Run multiple outbound campaigns (typically 3–5 clients)
Execute campaigns from brief through to live performance
Maintain consistency, quality, and reliability
DATA & TARGETING
Build and refine highly targeted prospect lists
Ensure accuracy of:
- job titles
- company names
- geography
Remove duplicates and irrelevant contacts
Maintain clean, structured datasets at all times
DELIVERABILITY & DOMAIN HEALTH (CRITICAL)
Monitor domain and inbox health daily
Identify and resolve deliverability issues early
Diagnose and resolve inbox placement issues (spam vs primary)
Manage warmup, sending volumes, and inbox rotation
Ensure strong inbox placement and avoid spam risks
CAMPAIGN SETUP & MANAGEMENT
Set up campaigns in Smartlead or Instantly
Manage sending schedules and inbox distribution
Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments
TESTING & OPTIMISATION
Run A/B tests on subject lines and messaging
Analyse open, reply, and positive response rates
Identify improvements and implement changes
REPLY HANDLING & QUALIFICATION
Categorise responses accurately
Identify qualified opportunities
Book meetings or pass qualified leads for booking
SYSTEMS & REPORTING
Maintain clean CRM and tracking systems
Ensure no duplication or data loss
Provide clear visibility on campaign performance
TOOLS
You should have experience with some of:
Smartlead or Instantly
Apollo or similar data tools
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Email
Google Sheets / data management

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Strong understanding of cold
Experience managing outbound campaigns end-to-end
High attention to detail, especially with data
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Comfortable identifying and solving problems
Awareness of deliverability and domain health
THIS ROLE IS NOT
A basic VA position
A copywriting role
A task-only execution role
Not suitable for candidates who require constant instruction or supervision
You will be expected to think, improve, and take responsibility for outcomes.

COMPENSATION
Monthly retainer based on experience and capability
Performance-based bonuses tied to campaign results and meeting generation
