Research-backed and timely thought leadership continually fuels our inbound and outbound marketing channels. Educational material that makes the case for patient referral management can move a prospect further down the funnel, catch the interest of a key account, or support a critical step in the sales process.

The content development and writing specialist will work alongside the head of marketing to develop engaging material to catch the interest of healthcare executives. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a sufficient understanding of content marketing and employ proven writing and communication expertise. As a content developer for Treatspace, you will be writing for CEOs, medical directors, executive directors, and lead physicians at large independent primary care practices across the U.S. If you are creative, enjoy healthcare writing, and are looking for a challenging position—you are a good fit for our team.

What are the responsibilities of a Treatspace Content Writer?
Develop ideas for blogs, white papers, infographics, videos and guides
Research and pitch 4-6 content outlines to the head of marketing each month to be considered and chosen for development
Contribute original writing on a weekly basis to the Treatspace Blog
Maintain a list of current publications, blogs, websites, forums, and social media groups where our target audience spends their time learning online
Draft short-form social media posts to promote new content across various social channels and related online discussions
Manage and maintain an ongoing content calendar, multiple project tasks, and publication deadlines

What experience, skills, and qualifications are needed?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong online research skills and/or drive
Tangible experience in the healthcare field with a strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare space—specifically medical practices
Strong technical aptitude—comfortable working with any software product
Demonstrated professional B2B writing
Experience using Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides (or Microsoft equivalents)
Ability to work in diverse teams and independently
Stellar organizational skills, project management, flexibility and creativity
Attention to detail and timely follow-up
Familiarity with major social media channels
Experience working with a collaboration or project management tool
1-2 years healthcare writing experience
2-4 years education experience (preferred)
BA or MA in health care (preferred)
Previous clinical, support, assistant, administrator experience is a bonus
