JOB OVERVIEW

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Cold Outreach & Follow-Up Specialist to support our HVAC company’s growth by generating new leads and converting prospects into booked appointments. This role focuses on outbound communication, relationship building, and consistent follow-up to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, SMS, and/or social platforms to potential residential and commercial HVAC customers
Identify and qualify leads based on service needs (installation, repair, maintenance, etc.)
Follow up consistently with prospects who have shown interest but have not yet converted
Schedule appointments for the sales or service team
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and customer interactions in CRM systems
Develop and refine outreach scripts and messaging to improve response and conversion rates
Handle objections professionally and nurture leads through multiple touchpoints
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align messaging and campaigns

Daily/Weekly Expectations:

High volume of outbound outreach (calls/messages/emails)
Timely follow-up with all warm and cold leads
Consistent pipeline updates and reporting
Meeting or exceeding set KPIs (appointments booked, response rates, conversions)

Qualifications:

Experience in cold outreach, sales development, or lead generation (HVAC or home services preferred)
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Comfortable handling rejection and maintaining persistence
Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline
Familiarity with CRM tools and outreach platforms is a plus

Preferred Skills:

Experience in HVAC, home services, or local service-based businesses
Knowledge of basic sales frameworks (e.g., objection handling, lead qualification)
Ability to personalize outreach at scale
