JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented research analyst for an ongoing role owning our prospect database. Kobble is Australia's licensed Banking-as-a-Service platform.

What you'll do:
• Audit and clean 1,000+ existing contacts — deduplication, missing fields, standardisation
• Enrich records and map 2–3 decision-makers per target account
• Segment by ICP: fintechs, insurers, banks, corporates, government — tier A/B/C
• Add 50–100 new qualified prospects per week
• Monitor trigger events and maintain an investor research list
• Weekly data quality report

Your Proposal Must Include a 10-Point Action Plan
1. How you'll audit the existing 1,000+ prospect list and identify data gaps
2. Deduplication and standardisation methodology — tools and rules
3. Enrichment approach — sources, order, and how you handle records that can't be enriched
4. Decision-maker mapping process — how you identify the right 2–3 contacts per target account
5. ICP segmentation criteria and how you'd tier A/B/C prospects
6. How you'll handle Australian-specific research — ASIC lookups, ABN verification, local sources
7. Weekly workflow — hours, tasks, and cadence
8. Trigger event monitoring approach — what events you track and how you surface them
9. Data quality metrics you'd report on weekly
10. How you'd coordinate handoffs with the outbound team and CRM specialist to avoid data conflicts

8 Vetting Questions — Address These in Your Application
1. Show an example of a prospect database you've built or maintained for a B2B company. How many
records? What enrichment sources? What was your data accuracy rate?
2. We have 1,000+ existing contacts that need cleaning and enrichment. Walk us through your first 5
days — what do you do, in what order?
3. How do you find verified email addresses and direct phone numbers for senior executives (CTO,
CEO, CFO level) at mid-market companies? What's your typical hit rate?
4. Our targets span fintechs, insurers, non-bank financials, banks, corporates, and government in
Australia. How would you approach segmenting and prioritising these differently?
5. We need trigger event monitoring at target companies — funding rounds, exec hires, regulatory
changes. What tools and processes do you use? Give a specific example.
6. How do you handle data conflicts — two records for the same person, or conflicting information
across sources? What's your resolution process?
7. We also need an investor target list built and maintained (VCs, growth funds, family offices with
fintech thesis). Have you done investor research before? Show an example or describe your
approach.
8. What's your weekly capacity in hours, and how many new qualified, enriched records can you
realistically deliver per week at a consistent quality standard?
