Part-Time Senior Video Editor + SMM + Virtual Assistant

Workload (weekly):

1 long-form video (teleprompter, site tours, educational A-roll with heavy B-roll)

5 reels/shorts (repurposed from long-form content or edited separately)

YouTube thumbnails, captions, descriptions, and branding

End-to-end social media management

Light virtual assistant support and occasional client follow-up for the construction business

You must be able to:

Edit at a professional senior-editor level with strong pacing, storytelling, and attention to detail

Create high-retention edits with tight pacing and no fluff

Handle heavy B-roll overlays cleanly and professionally

Do basic audio cleanup and music balancing

Create clickable thumbnails with clean composition, bold text, and strong contrast

Manage social media platforms end to end

Upload, schedule, publish, and optimise content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

Repurpose content properly for different platforms and formats

Write captions, titles, descriptions, hooks, and timestamps

Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent posting

Monitor engagement, respond to basic comments/messages where appropriate, and flag important enquiries

Keep branding, tone, and formatting consistent across all platforms

Support with light virtual assistant tasks such as:

organising files and footage

tracking content in spreadsheets or project boards

managing deadlines and follow-ups

basic online research related to content or properties

Occasionally call potential clients and follow up on quotes in a professional and polite manner

Communicate well and deliver consistently
