Annotations Ops Manager (Video Data)

VisionLab is building the data layer for physical AI by capturing and structuring real-world industrial workflows using video and SOP-level process knowledge. We are looking for an AI Data Operations Manager to own and scale our annotation pipeline end-to-end.

You will be responsible for recruiting and managing annotators, designing onboarding and training programs, and overseeing daily annotation operations to ensure high-quality outputs. This includes managing throughput, meeting SLAs, and coordinating across annotators, QA reviewers, and internal teams. A key part of the role is building and maintaining strong quality control systems, including multi-layer review, sampling strategies, and accuracy tracking, to consistently achieve high annotation accuracy (?95%). You will also track performance metrics (throughput, accuracy, cost) and continuously improve efficiency through better processes, tooling, and incentive structures.

Requirements: at least 2 years of experience managing annotation or labeling projects (video preferred), prior experience managing teams, and familiarity with tools such as CVAT, Label Studio, or similar annotations tool. Strong understanding of quality control workflows is required. Experience in computer vision, multimodal data, or companies such as Scale AI, Appen, Surge AI, TELUS, or similar is a strong plus.
