Cinematic Birthday Film (5–6 min) with English Voice Narration – Documentary Style
Description:
I am looking for an experienced video editor to create a 5–6 minute cinematic documentary-style film for a formal 70th birthday event.
This video will be shown at the beginning of a banquet function, so it must be high quality, emotionally engaging, and professionally polished.
Project Overview:
The film will tell a life story using:
- Curated family photos
- Travel & adventure photos
- Historical/early life images
- A few short video clips
I will provide:
- A complete narration script (English)
- Organized photos and video files
- General structure and guidance
IMPORTANT – Voice Narration Required:
The final video must include:
- Professional English voice-over narration
- Clear, warm, documentary-style tone
- Proper pacing with pauses for emotional impact
Please confirm if you:
- Provide voice-over yourself
OR
- Work with a voice artist
Style & Expectations:
This is NOT a simple slideshow.
I am looking for:
- Cinematic storytelling (documentary style)
- Smooth pacing and emotional flow
- Subtle transitions (no flashy effects)
- Slow zoom (Ken Burns style)
- Clean, elegant text overlays
- Music synced with narration
- Proper use of silence and timing
Music:
- Cinematic instrumental (royalty-free)
- Emotional but not overly dramatic
Deliverables:
- Final video in MP4 format (1080p or 4K)
- Optimized for large screen / banquet hall playback
- Voice narration included and synced
- One preview version + revisions before final
Timeline:
- Prefer delivery within 5–7 days
Tone:
Balanced:
- Elegant
- Emotional
- With some light joyful moments
To Apply, Please Include:

2. Sample of voice-over narration (very important)
3. Editing software used (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
4. Estimated cost and turnaround time
Bonus (Optional):
I may request a short 20–30 second sample edit using my photos before final selection.
Budget:
Open to proposals (fixed price preferred)
Note:
This is a meaningful personal project, so attention to detail and storytelling is very important.
