SEO & Tax Client Acquisition Assistant (Part-Time / Contract)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented assistant to help grow our tax preparation and bookkeeping client base before the end of tax season. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEO, digital marketing, and data entry who can support both client acquisition and backend operations.
Primary Goal
Your main objective is to help us:
• Generate new tax preparation clients
• Secure ongoing bookkeeping/accounting retainer clients
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Marketing
• Assist in implementing SEO strategies to increase visibility for tax services
• Optimize website content, Google Business profile, and local listings
• Help create and post content related to tax preparation and bookkeeping services
• Identify and support outreach opportunities (local businesses, freelancers, etc.)
Data Entry & CRM Management
• Input and maintain client information accurately
• Track leads, inquiries, and conversions
• Organize client pipeline and follow-ups
Administrative Support
• Assist with onboarding new clients
• Maintain organized digital records
• Support communication and scheduling as needed
Qualifications
• Experience with SEO, local SEO, or digital marketing
• Familiarity with tax preparation, bookkeeping, or accounting services (preferred)
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and CRM systems
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Social media marketing experience
• Previous work in tax or financial services

• Organized and accurate client tracking system
Compensation
• Hourly plus performance bonuses,
“Input Tax Prep and SEO” as the email header to be considered
