Role Overview
The AI Specialist is responsible for planning, integrating, and optimizing AI tools and automations across business platforms. This includes custom-built applications, Google Workspace systems, web-based platforms, and e-commerce stores. The goal is to improve workflow efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, enhance customer experience, and support smarter business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Implement AI solutions for custom applications and internal tools.
Integrate AI into Google Workspace workflows such as Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
Build and improve AI-powered features for custom web applications.
Apply AI tools in e-commerce stores for product content, customer support, automation, and data analysis.
Work with developers and stakeholders to identify areas where AI can improve operations.
Test, optimize, and maintain AI integrations for performance and accuracy.
Create AI-driven automations for reporting, data processing, and business workflows.
Monitor AI outputs and ensure quality, usability, and business relevance.
Skills and Expertise
Experience with AI tools, APIs, and automation platforms.
Knowledge of custom app integration and web-based systems.
Familiarity with Google Workspace automation and workflows.

Zapier - for connecting apps, triggering workflows, and automating repetitive tasks between platforms without heavy custom coding.
Make (Integromat) - for more advanced visual automations, multi-step logic, data routing, and API-based workflow orchestration.
Google Apps Script - for extending Google Workspace with custom automation in Sheets, Gmail, Drive, Forms, and Docs.
OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini APIs - for adding chat, content generation, classification, summarization, image support, and AI-powered assistants into business systems.
n8n - for self-hosted or developer-friendly workflow automation when a business wants more control over integrations and data flow.
