PROJECT TYPE: Short-term / Contract
WORK SETUP: Remote / Freelance
INDUSTRY: Legal Services
ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are a modern law firm looking to elevate our visual identity through a focused, short-term creative engagement. This is a small but meaningful project for the right designer - someone who takes pride in the details and understands how to balance professionalism with contemporary aesthetics.
The scope of work includes two primary deliverables:
Refinement and modernization of our existing law firm logo
Improvement and polishing of our current brand guidelines document
This is not a full rebrand - we love the direction we are heading, and we simply need an experienced eye to refine, sharpen, and elevate what we already have.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Review and refine our current logo for improved scalability, balance, and modern appeal
Ensure the logo works across digital and print formats (web, letterhead, signage)
Update and organize our brand guidelines - covering typography, color palette, logo usage rules, and spacing
Deliver all final assets in layered, editable formats (AI, PSD, PDF, PNG)
Collaborate closely with our team for feedback and revisions
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is required - no exceptions
Strong understanding of logo design principles and vector-based artwork
Experience creating or refining brand identity systems and guidelines
Eye for typography, color theory, and clean, professional composition
Ability to meet deadlines and incorporate feedback efficiently
Portfolio demonstrating relevant logo or brand identity work
NICE TO HAVE
Prior experience working with law firms, professional services, or corporate clients
Familiarity with InDesign for layout work on brand documents
