Remote | (Part-Time to Start) | Path to Lead Developer
We’re looking for a strong full-stack JavaScript developer who can build and own both frontend and backend systems.
This role is for someone who can take a feature from idea ? implementation ? deployment without needing separate frontend/backend handoffs.
Long-term, this is intended to become a lead developer role.
What You’ll Do:
- Build interactive web applications (frontend + backend)
- Develop 3D browser-based tools and viewers
- Design and build APIs and backend services
- Handle data flow between UI, backend, and external systems
- Work with Dockerized environments and deployments
- Use AI tools (Claude) to accelerate development and iteration
Required Skills:
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) across frontend AND backend
Frontend:
- React (or similar modern framework)
- Experience building interactive UIs
Backend:
- Node.js (Express, Fastify, or similar)
- Building APIs, handling data, basic system design
- Three.js / WebGL / browser-based 3D experience
- Experience building or working with 3D viewers
- Experience with Docker
- Experience using Claude or AI tools in development workflows
- Ability to independently design and ship features end-to-end

Nice to Have
- GLB/GLTF pipelines or 3D asset handling
- WebGL performance optimization
- Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Experience connecting to external tools/APIs
