New York-based digital marketing agency looking for an AI-savvy Content Writer and Marketing Assistant who can work during USA Eastern Time business hours.
We work with clients in:
Home improvement
Medical and aesthetic
Hospitality and events
Local service businesses
We need someone who can use AI tools intelligently, not lazily.
That means you know how to turn rough ideas into strong content, use AI to speed up research and drafting, and then refine everything so it sounds natural, strategic, and conversion-focused.
This role is for someone who understands that good marketing content is not just writing. It is about clarity, trust, structure, SEO, and lead generation.
What You Will Be Doing
Writing and editing website pages, service pages, blog posts, landing pages,
Using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grammarly, and similar tools to assist with outlining, rewriting, content development, and research
Turning voice notes, rough drafts, bullet points, and client input into polished marketing content
Writing SEO-friendly content for local businesses in industries like home services, healthcare, aesthetics, and hospitality
Reviewing AI-generated content and improving it so it feels human, clear, persuasive, and brand-appropriate
Proofreading, fact-checking, and tightening copy before it is delivered
Helping organize content files, revisions, and production workflows
Collaborating with our internal team during USA EST hours
Who We Are Looking For
You write excellent English
You are comfortable using AI tools every day
You know how to prompt well and improve weak output
You can write in different tones depending on the client and industry
You understand marketing and are not just a generic article writer
You are dependable, organized, responsive, and can meet deadlines
You are comfortable working during Eastern USA time hours
Required Skills
Strong written English
Experience in content writing, copywriting, SEO writing, or digital marketing
Practical experience using AI tools for content creation and workflow support
Ability to write website copy, blogs, social content, and
Ability to self-edit and improve clarity, grammar, structure, and marketing effectiveness
Strong attention to detail
Reliable internet and work setup
Availability during EST working hours
Preferred Experience
Writing for home improvement businesses such as plumbing, HVAC, roofing, remodeling, or electrical
Writing for medical, med spa, dental, dermatology, or concierge medicine brands
Writing for hospitality businesses such as hotels, venues, restaurants, or events
Basic understanding of local SEO, keyword structure, headings, title tags, and search intent
Experience with WordPress, Google Docs, ClickUp, Basecamp, Trello, or similar systems

This is not for people who simply copy and paste AI output.
We are looking for someone who can use AI as a competitive advantage while still applying human thinking, editing, structure, quality control, and marketing judgment.
If your content sounds robotic, repetitive, vague, or generic, you will not succeed in this role.
Schedule
You must be able to work during USA EST hours.
