JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role [NO TEST TASK]

We produce online courses for clients across various industries. Raw video recordings are already captured — your job is to transform them into polished, professional course modules ready for publishing. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent volume for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

- Editing long-form talking-head and screen recording footage into clean, engaging course modules
- Adding branded graphics, lower thirds, chapter titles, and callout text overlays
- Light color correction and audio cleanup/leveling
- Cutting filler content, dead air, and mistakes from raw recordings
- Syncing supplementary assets (slides, b-roll, intro/outro sequences)
- Delivering exports in specified formats (1080p MP4, etc.)
- Incorporating 2 rounds of revision feedback per video
- Building and executing cinematic motion graphic sequences in After Effects that visually reinforce what the speaker is saying

## ???? Visual Style Requirements

We're looking for an editor who can execute a **premium, cinematic motion graphics style** commonly seen in top-tier business and entrepreneurship YouTube channels. This is not a simple talking-head edit — it requires intentional design thinking and polished After Effects work.

**Graphics & Animations (the core of this role)**

Roughly 25–35% of the video runtime features full-screen or side-panel animated graphic sequences that visually reinforce what the speaker is saying — animated diagrams, charts, timelines, icon-driven frameworks, and cinematic text callouts. These are built in After Effects and must feel smooth, intentional, and premium.

Key traits of the graphic style:

- Thin lines, clean shapes, and rounded corners — never cluttered
- Minimal, smooth text animations (clean slide-ins and fade-ups, not flashy effects)
- A mix of a modern sans-serif font paired with a contrasting traditional/serif font
- AI-generated or high-quality artistic imagery used as backgrounds within graphic scenes
- Clean, thin-line vector icons consistent in style throughout

**Text & Typography**

On-screen text reinforces key points, not just captions. Bold headline text paired with thinner supporting copy. Animations are smooth pop-ups or flow-in text reveals — never distracting.

**Editing Rhythm**

A-roll is tightly cut with filler and dead air removed. Graphic sequences break up the talking head naturally, giving the video a premium "produced" feel without feeling overproduced.

**Sound Design**

Subtle cinematic sound effects (whooshes, soft hits, ambient tones) accompany graphic transitions to give the edit a professional polish.
