We are a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that delivers fully integrated marketing programs for high-value clients. Our flagship offering is a six-channel marketing system: Google Ads/LSA, SEO, retargeting,
You are the diagnostician. When a client’s results dip, you don’t just look at one channel — you look at all six and identify where the breakdown is. Is the PPC traffic high-quality but the landing page killing conversions? Is SEO ranking well but the wrong keywords are being targeted? Are
You are also the team leader. You manage a distributed team of channel specialists across multiple countries and time zones. You set priorities, review deliverables, enforce quality standards, and make sure nothing ships to a client that isn’t excellent. You don’t do the execution on every channel yourself — you have specialists for that. But you know enough about every channel to catch bad work, ask the right questions, and redirect when something is off.
This is a buildout-stage company. We are not a mature agency with 50 employees and established systems. We are a small, fast-moving team building something from the ground up. Some of your team members are brand new. Some roles are still being hired. Documentation is being created in real time. If you need a fully structured environment with every process already defined before you start, this is not for you. If you thrive in environments where you help build the structure while simultaneously delivering for clients, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
Cross-Channel Diagnosis & Strategy
Review performance data across all six channels for each client weekly. Identify which channel is underperforming and why. Determine whether the issue is targeting, creative, technical (tracking/pixel), budget allocation, or timing. Direct the responsible specialist to fix it with specific instructions, not vague guidance. Prepare the performance narrative for monthly client strategy calls.
Team Management
Run daily stand-ups with your team (PPC, SEO,
Client Delivery Coordination
Own the delivery calendar for each client. Ensure every channel hits its weekly/monthly deliverables on schedule. Coordinate with the Client Success Manager (who owns the client relationship) to ensure what the team delivers matches what the client expects. You do not communicate with clients directly — you arm the CSM with everything they need to have confident, data-backed conversations.
Reporting & Accountability
Monday: team stand-up + week priorities set. Friday: written status update to CEO covering progress, blockers, and flags across all active clients. Monthly: performance narrative per client summarizing what worked, what didn’t, what changes are being made, and projected impact.
Required Qualifications
Multi-channel expertise is non-negotiable. You must have hands-on operational experience (not just awareness) in at least four of these six channels: Google Ads (Search, Display, PMAX, LSA), SEO (technical and content), retargeting/programmatic display,
3+ years managing a team of 3 or more people in a digital marketing agency or in-house marketing department. Managing freelancers on gig platforms doesn’t count. We need someone who has run stand-ups, reviewed deliverables, coached underperformers, and been accountable for a team’s output.
Agency experience strongly preferred. You understand what it means to manage multiple clients simultaneously, each with different needs, timelines, and expectations. You’ve dealt with clients who are unhappy, campaigns that aren’t working, and budgets that don’t leave room for error.
You’ve built something from scratch. Whether it was a department, a process, a team, or a client delivery system — you’ve been in an environment where you had to create the structure, not just follow it. You can point to something specific and say: “That didn’t exist before me. I built it.”
English communication must be professional and clear. You’ll write performance reports, direct team members across cultures, and prepare materials that a U.S. client-facing team member will present. Grammar, clarity, and precision matter.
What Disqualifies You
You only know one channel deeply and have surface-level awareness of the rest. We need a diagnostician, not a specialist. You’ve never managed people and are looking for your first management role. You need every process, template, and SOP handed to you before you can start working. You’re looking for a part-time gig or a short-term project. You apply to every job posting you see without reading the description.
Application Questions (All 5 Required)
Candidates must answer all five questions in their application. Generic or AI-generated answers are an automatic disqualification. Do not advance any candidate who submits a cover letter or resume without answering these questions.
Question 1: A client’s Google Ads clicks are steady but leads dropped 40% in 30 days. Organic rankings improved.
Question 2: You manage 5 specialists across 3 countries. One strong performer is missing deadlines (overloaded). One mediocre performer misses deadlines regardless of workload. How do you handle each differently? Be specific.
Question 3: Name a specific client where you found a cross-channel problem individual channel teams missed. What was the problem, how did you find it, what did you fix, and what was the measurable result?
Question 4: Day 1: team is half-built, 2 roles unfilled, docs are incomplete, and a high-value client is live expecting results. How do you spend your first 5 days? What’s first, what waits, what do you deliver by Friday?
Question 5: Rate yourself 1–5 on each (1=awareness, 3=can QC others’ work, 5=expert execution): Google Ads, SEO, Retargeting,
