JOB OVERVIEW

The Role
As a Direct Response Video Editor, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling video
advertisements that capture attention, communicate value, and drive conversions for our
---------- products on platforms like Facebook. You will be responsible for the video editing
lifecycle, from conceptualization and initial cuts to final delivery, with a keen focus on
performance metrics and direct response principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit engaging and high-converting video ads optimized for Facebook and other social
media platforms.
- Transform raw footage, user-generated content (UGC), testimonials, and product
demonstrations into persuasive direct response creatives.
- Implement proven direct response techniques, including strong hooks, clear
calls-to-action, compelling pacing, and effective storytelling to maximize conversion
rates.
- Collaborate closely with the team to understand campaign objectives, target
audiences, and performance data to inform creative decisions.
- Iterate on existing video ads based on performance data and A/B testing results to
continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and platform-specific best
practices.
- Manage and organize video assets efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Video Editor, specifically collaborating
with international and/or American Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of
effective collaboration in an English-speaking environment.
- Currently engaged in an active video editing project for a DTC brand, demonstrating
ongoing relevance and expertise.
- Proficiency with Tryatria and Elevenlabs for advanced video and audio manipulation,
including AI-driven voiceovers and creative enhancements.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe
Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut).
- Demonstrable understanding of direct response marketing principles and how they
apply to video advertising for e-commerce.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful direct response video ads that have driven
measurable results (e.g., ROAS, CTR, CVR).
- Experience with A/B testing creative variations and interpreting performance data to
inform future edits.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for crafting impactful visual
stories.

Bonus Points
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with various ad platforms beyond Facebook (e.g., TikTok, YouTube,
Snapchat).
- Knowledge of current trends in social media video content and advertising.
