JOB OVERVIEW

What This Role Is
We are looking for a Junior Account Development Executive to support our sales team from the Philippines, fully remote.
The role has three clear phases:
Months 1–3: You will manage our account manager's customer inbox, learn our product range and customer base, and get up to speed on how we work. No independent outreach yet — this phase is about learning.
Months 4–6: You will begin warm outreach to a defined list of target customers via email and LinkedIn. Your job will be to book calls, make introductions, and keep conversations moving. You will continue supporting the inbox.
Month 7 onward: You will take ownership of defined accounts under guidance. You will manage your own outreach within agreed parameters and begin building real commercial relationships.
This is a genuine development role. If you want to grow into account management, this is how you start.

Who We Are Looking For
We want to be direct about this: the most important thing is your personality, not your CV.
We are looking for someone who naturally goes after things rather than waiting for them to arrive. Someone who initiates, follows up, and does not give up when they don't hear back.
You are probably a good fit if you:

Feel comfortable reaching out to people you don't know
Write clear, professional English that you would be happy to put in front of a client
Have chased something — a lead, an opportunity, a person — and kept going when it got difficult
Want to work in sales or account management, not just support someone who does
Have energy and bring it to your work every day

You are probably not the right fit if:

Your greatest strength is being careful, thorough, and detail-oriented (we value this, but it is not the primary need here)
You prefer stable, process-driven work with clear instructions
The idea of reaching out to strangers and following up repeatedly makes you uncomfortable
You are looking for a long-term support or admin role

Experience in outreach, cold calling, lead generation, appointment setting, or anything commercially proactive is a bonus — but it is not required. The right personality with no sales experience will always beat the wrong personality with years of it.

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like
In the early months, your primary responsibility will be managing a busy customer inbox professionally and accurately — triaging, drafting responses, flagging priorities, and keeping things moving. From there, you will begin reaching out to customers via email and LinkedIn, booking introductions, and eventually managing your own accounts.
You will be working remotely and independently. There will be a manager available, but this is not a role where you will be told what to do every hour. You need to be self-directed and comfortable owning your workload.

Requirements

Excellent written English — this will be assessed from your application. Please write your application as if you were writing to a client.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace
Available to work UK-aligned hours (details to be discussed)
Philippines-based

How to Apply
Do not send a generic application.
Write us a short message — 150 to 250 words — that tells us:

Who you are and what you have been doing
A specific example of a time you reached out to someone new or chased an opportunity that was not handed to you
Why this kind of commercial, outreach-focused role appeals to you — not virtual work generally, but this type of work specifically

Applications that do not follow this format will not be reviewed. We are screening for written English and commercial thinking from the first message.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a short video introduction before any interview takes place.
