We are seeking a professional, proactive, and personable Administrative Operations Assistant to support a UK-based mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contracting business serving residential buildings. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience who is comfortable handling calls, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will work closely with both the client and on-site teams during UK business hours.
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM UK time
Work Setup: Remote
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to book appointments and coordinate with on-site teams
- Manage scheduling and ensure accurate and timely booking of jobs
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, documentation, and record keeping
- Assist with customer service inquiries and follow-ups
- Perform general administrative and ad hoc operational tasks
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and internal teams
- Support overall operational efficiency across the business
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative and/or Administrative Assistant
- Minimum English proficiency of CEFR Level B2 (both written and verbal)
- Comfortable taking calls throughout working hours
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Professional, proactive, and with a pleasing personality
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred
