Professional video editor/ social media manager

JSK Advisory is a fast-growing marketing and automation agency helping professional service firms, eCommerce brands, and local service businesses scale using modern marketing systems. We are a startup but growing fast and are looking for an experienced and proactive person to join our social media and creative editing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with national brands across ecommerce and professional services and the right person will have long term career development opportunites. We're also based in Sydney Australia with only a 3 hour timezone difference from the Philippines, allowing you to work daytime hours (no graveyard shift!).

This role is focused on creating high-quality short-form content and ad creatives for Facebook and Instagram across our agency account, eCommerce brand and professional service clients. You will edit raw footage and voiceovers into polished videos, develop strong hooks for organic and paid content, add captions, on-screen text, graphics, and transitions, and ensure consistent visual quality and branding across all accounts. You will be fully managing the organic social media for our ecommerce brand ---------- and tasked with growing views and engagement.

You will also assist with Facebook advertising by uploading ad creatives into Facebook Ads Manager, organising creative variations, and working closely with the founder to refine hooks, angles, and creative concepts for testing and performance.

Copywriting is an important part of this role. You will write clear, professional social media captions with strong hooks and calls to action, create visually engaging and scroll-stopping posts, and use AI tools such as ChatGPT to support ideation, repurposing, and content refinement. You will apply storytelling and direct-response principles appropriate for professional services and eCommerce audiences.

You will also be responsible for creating professional lead magnets including PDFs, guides, checklists, and short reports. The content will be produced and provided to you and you will design visually appealing layouts in PDF form. You will ensure all lead magnets are on-brand, visually polished, and optimised for lead conversion.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least three years of experience in video editing, graphics design and social media management creation. Experience working with professional service firms and eCommerce brands is a bonus. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing creative work across multiple brands.
