JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview:

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for both the SEO strategy and the development of high-converting, user-friendly WordPress websites. You will collaborate closely with content creators, marketing teams, and business stakeholders to improve search rankings, drive traffic, and optimize user journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth keyword research and on-page optimization to improve search rankings and visibility.

Write compelling meta descriptions, title tags, and H1 headings grounded in user psychology and search intent.

Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites with a focus on speed, user experience, and mobile optimization.

Integrate and configure Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Site Kit to track performance and gather insights.

Perform regular SEO audits, ensuring technical SEO standards are met (site speed, schema markup, etc.).

Implement structured data and schema to improve rich results and snippet visibility.

Collaborate on A/B testing for conversions and ensure the design aligns with SEO best practices.

Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and apply insights proactively to maintain and improve rankings.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in SEO and web development, particularly with WordPress.

Proven track record of ranking websites on Google’s first page and optimizing for conversion.

Deep knowledge of SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Site Kit, and SEO audit tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush).

Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and conversion-focused web design.

Excellent communication skills to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with e-commerce SEO or licensing-based businesses.

Familiarity with voice search optimization or emerging SEO trends.

Experience in developing or managing a music catalog or media-related platform.
