Operations Manager - Healthcare

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee non-clinical operations across a medical practice and surgery center.

This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to create structure, improve workflows, manage teams, support financial performance, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

What You’ll Do

1. Oversee day-to-day operations across both facilities
2. Manage scheduling, patient flow, front desk, billing coordination, and admin functions
3. Build systems and workflows that improve efficiency and accountability
4. Support revenue performance through stronger utilization, collections support, and operational follow-through
5. Monitor KPIs, team performance, and operational results
6. Help manage budgets, forecasting, and overall business performance
7. Work closely with billing and revenue cycle teams on collections, denials, and receivables
8. Lead, coach, and hold teams accountable to clear expectations
9. Improve patient experience and resolve service or process gaps
10. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, audits, and documentation requirements
11. Manage vendors and support operational scaling as the business grows

What We Need

- 5+ years in healthcare operations, practice management, or similar leadership
- Strong experience managing teams, departments, and operational performance
- Solid understanding of medical practice workflows, revenue cycle, and compliance
- Experience building processes, improving systems, and driving execution
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working closely with physicians and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field is a plus
- Experience in specialty practice or surgery center operations is a plus
