We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations across multiple entities. This role involves a mix of weekly bookkeeping, month-end close support, billing, and compliance tasks. You will work closely with the owner and accounting team to ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books in QuickBooks Online (categorization, reconciliation, cleanup)
Handle month-end close (journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations)
Manage billing and invoicing (weekly + monthly)
Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, A/R, A/P)
Support payroll tracking and basic adjustments
Assist with compliance (state filings, tax payments)
Communicate with team and flag issues proactively
Requirements
Strong QuickBooks Online experience
Solid bookkeeping knowledge (accruals, reconciliations, A/R, A/P)
Detail-oriented and organized
Comfortable with Google Sheets
Good written English
Nice to Have
Experience using
Experience working with multiple entities or project-based accounting
Experience working in a remote team
Work Structure
Part-time with flexible hours (must meet deadlines)
Weekly and monthly tasks to complete
Work directly with the owner

Books are clean, accurate, and up to date
Month-end close is completed on time
Billing is accurate and sent on time
Minimal follow-up needed from management
