JOB OVERVIEW

About Short For ---------- dia
At Short For ---------- dia, we specialize in transforming long-form video content into powerful short-form assets designed to engage, grow, and convert audiences. We work with thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesses to maximize the reach of their content through high-quality, strategic, and consistent output.
Our podcast production service manages the full client journey — from studio booking and planning to directing, editing, and posting. We're now looking for a Podcast Specialist to own the publishing, engagement, and performance side of that pipeline.

The Role
We're hiring a Podcast Specialist to manage the end-to-end publishing workflow for our podcast clients, monitor and engage with their audiences across platforms, and deliver clear performance reports that show real results.
This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes podcasts and short-form content, understands what makes clips perform, and knows how to translate data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with our editing, creative directors, and account management teams to make sure every episode and every clip lands the way it should.

Key Responsibilities:

Podcast Publishing & Scheduling
-Manage and schedule podcast episode uploads across all relevant platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.)
-Ensure short-form clips derived from each episode are posted consistently across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
-Maintain and execute content calendars for each podcast client, ensuring a minimum publishing cadence is met every week
-Coordinate with editors and content teams to ensure assets are ready and approved before scheduled publish times
-Troubleshoot and resolve any upload errors, formatting issues, or scheduling failures quickly

Engagement Management
-Monitor comments, replies, and messages across podcast and social media platforms for all clients
-Engage with audiences in a way that reflects each client's brand voice
-Flag any notable comments, feedback, or opportunities to the account management team
-Identify trending conversations or topics within each client's niche that could inform future content

Performance Tracking & Reporting
-Track key metrics across all platforms: views, watch time, follower growth, engagement rate, reach, and more
-Build and deliver weekly performance reports for each client summarizing content output, top-performing clips, and key takeaways
-Identify trends and patterns in the data to help improve content strategy and posting schedules
-Work closely with Account Managers to align reporting with each client's goals and KPIs

Workflow & Team Collaboration
-Coordinate with the editing team to flag any content issues before publishing
-Maintain organized records of published content, scheduling logs, and performance data
-Communicate proactively with internal teams if deadlines are at risk or issues arise
-Support continuous improvement of the publishing workflow as the podcast roster grows

Qualifications & Skills:

Required
-Experience managing podcast publishing or social media accounts professionally
-Strong understanding of major podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube) and short-form platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
-Solid grasp of social media analytics and performance metrics
-Experience creating reports and presenting data in a clear, client-friendly format
-Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
-Excellent written communication skills in English
-Availability full-time (40 hrs/week) during EST business hours

Preferred
-Familiarity with scheduling and social media management tools (e.g., Metricool, Airtable, ---------- )
-Experience working at a content agency or with multiple clients at once
-Understanding of U.S. culture, trends, and what drives engagement on short-form platforms
-Basic knowledge of project management tools (ClickUp, Airtable, etc.)
-Genuine passion for podcasts and the short-form content space

What You'll Get
-Full-time, long-term remote role
-Consistent workload with clear workflows and expectations
-A collaborative team that's serious about quality and growth
-The opportunity to become a core part of our podcast production pipeline
-A no-BS, no-ego environment where your work actually moves the needle

How to Apply
-Your resume
-2–3 examples of podcast or social media accounts you've managed
-A brief description of your experience with performance reporting
-Your expected monthly salary
